What is Red Oak Wood (Hardwood Flooring)?

The red oak wood for flooring is heavy and very durable wood which gives a rich light brown with a reddish hint. and distinctive grain, red oak flooring has a reputation of a striking choice for modern, rustic and traditional spaces.
Color Range Has a light to medium brownish in color heartwood, common with a reddish hue. Almost white to light brown sapwood which is not always sharply distinguished from its heartwood. The quarter sawn sections shows a prominent ray fleck patterns.
Wood Texture Has a straight grain, with a coarse, uneven texture. The pores are so large and open that it is said a person can blow into one end of the wood, and air will come out the other end: provided that the grain runs straight enough.
