In the winter of '94 we started Taylor Forest Products behind Michaels Service Center in Pembroke, with nothing but an old Jeep CJ, three lifetimes of experience and a few high limit credit cards. The little Jeep was able to carry 6 square feet of white cedar shingles inside, along with 2000 L.F. of clapboard on the roof. The credit cards were maxed out most of the time as well.

The Jeep gave up, the credit cards are breathing a little easier these days, and business is great. Now we have seven trucks going all the time and a new yard, but we are still very much a low budget operation.
